Your Questions

Planning a trek requires careful preparation. Here are answers to common questions about our Indian trekking holidays. Need more specific advice? Reach out to our experts.

Ask Us Anything
What are the best treks in India?

India offers incredible variety. Popular choices include the scenic Hampta Pass, the beginner-friendly Triund Trek, the UNESCO-listed Valley of Flowers, the winter favourite Kedarkantha, and the culturally rich Har Ki Dun trek.

Are trekking holidays suitable for beginners?

Yes, we offer multiple trails tailored specifically for beginners or casual hikers, such as the Triund Trek and the Meesapulimala Trek in Kerala, which require basic fitness rather than advanced mountaineering skills.

When is the best time for trekking in India?

It varies by region. Himalayan treks are best from May to June and October to November. The Valley of Flowers peaks from July to September. For Southern India like Kerala, November to March provides the coolest and driest conditions.

Do I need previous trekking experience?

Not for all trails. We categorize our treks by difficulty. Easy-to-moderate treks simply require general cardiovascular fitness. However, challenging routes like the Pin Parvati Pass do require prior high-altitude trekking experience.

What should I pack?

Essential gear includes broken-in waterproof trekking boots, layered clothing (moisture-wicking base layers, fleece, and a waterproof shell), a high-quality daypack, UV-protection sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle. A detailed packing list is provided upon booking.
